Luis Cañas Crianza from Casa Noguera

Luis Cañas Crianza has 92 Parker points. Its origin is Rioja Alavesa and is certified by the DOCa Rioja through the “Zone Wine” Guarantee of Origin seal.

This cherry red colour wine has an interesting aroma that highlights its fruity character with notes of strawberry and banana. On the nose you can see additional hints of vanilla, cedar wood, leaf litter and some balsamic notes.

The aging of Luis Cañas Crianza takes place in barrels for 12 months. The age of the barrels is three years and the type of oak is 60% French and 40% American.

The varieties are:

95% tempranillo
5% grenache

To make Luis Cañas Crianza, clusters and grains from a vineyard with an average age of 30 years are selected on a double table. After destemming, production takes place in a stainless steel tank.
